Tail on the trail
We would encourage you to get yourself signed up on Tailonthetrail.org website. The Challenge maybe over, but hopefully you are still engaging in outdoor activities. I would encourage you to continue to log your activities, it’s a nice personal ‘physical activities journal’ to personally acknowledge your success. All activities count…this will help you keep track of your accomplishments on the Trail and at Home. If you go to the Website, scroll down you will see the “Conversion Chart”, i.e. 20 minutes of Yoga equals 1 mile or 22 minutes of Yard Work equals 1 mile….the miles accumulate quickly and you will be amazed at your accomplishments. Keep moving!

Building Health Series Outdoors and Active
- Walking Mondays, 10 am Union Dale Trailhead (September 11th, 18th,)
- Full Moon Walk, September 29th, Harvest Moon
- Pop up Sunday Trail/Meditation/Mindfulness Walk, watch our facebook page on Fridays
- Biking Wednesdays, (September 6th, 13th, 20th), meeting at Union Dale Trailhead at 5 pm.
- Virtual Challenge, during the month of September, Bike/Walk 40 miles, Bike /Walk 20 miles, go to our home page to register.
- Biketoberfest, October 21st, SAVE THE DATE, Trail festival at the Caboose.
SAVE THE DATE, The Annual Virtual Challenge, the whole month of September, bringing awareness, appreciation and support for the 38 miles of trail that runs from Simpson to the NY border. Your participation for just $25.00 dollars goes toward the maintenance and improvements while competing with other riders, walkers and runners. There’s a 40 mile biking event, a 20 mile biking event, a 10 mile walking event and a half marathon to challenge yourself or compete with others…you have the whole month of September!!!! Your times and mileage will be displayed on our website. We will post the link where you can sign up.
