Trail Tender Report

Eyes, Ears, and Advocates of the Trail

The trail tender program is an opportunity for all trail enthusiasts to assist RTC in maintaining and enhancing the trail.  We are asking you to be the eyes, ears and advocates of the trail.

Some ideas on what volunteers can do are:

  • Keeping the trail clear of debris (pick up garbage when walking)
  • pruning small limbs from trail corridor
  • cleaning out drainage structures
  • trash pick-ups
  • provide directions, assistance to trail users
  • report hazards, vandalism, illegal activities
  • organizing trail walks
  • install signage or mile markers
  • plan & organize larger-scale projects
  • recruit other volunteers
